FABRIC WALLING
Traditionally,
the
method
of
fabric
walling
is
the
application
of
wooden
battens
to
the
walls,
applying
an
interlining,
then
stretching
and
fixing
the
fabric
to
the
battens,
usually
finished
with
a braid, double piping or mouldings.
Advantages
of
fabric
walling
include
the
concealment
of
imperfect
walls
and
improved
acoustics.
